August 9 & 10 at Skypark in Scotts Valley, 10 am-6 pm
This year we are highlighting 100 California artists; featuring fine art, textiles, jewelry, ceramics, woodwork, photography, soaps, artisan foods, leather, metal work, glass and mixed media pieces. This year’s festival artist, Chris Johnson will be there with his exquisite hand-blown glass sculptures along with many new and returning artists selling their wares.
Com join us and walk the park admiring and shopping the beautiful and uniquely handmade art & crafts and enjoy tasting the marvelous wines from the Santa Cruz Mountains. This year we are proud to present the following wineries at the festival: Hallcrest Organic Wine Works, Surf City Cider, Heart O’ the Mountain Winery, 37th Parallel, Wargin Wines, Kissed by an Angel Wines, Bottle Jack Winery, Armitage Wines, Dancing Creek Wines, Bruzzone Family Vineyards, MYKA, MJA, Bargetto and Chaucer’s Winery. All are local, family established wineries, with bottles available for sale at the festival.
Of course no festival would be complete without a little entertainment to go along with your art and wine! We have a lineup of some great bands that will be playing this year, including: Back to Nowhere, Tsunami, Aftershock, Mike Hadley Band, Harpin’ Jonny & the Primadons, and the Linda Arceo Band. These groups will be playing throughout both days of the festival. So come ready to sing along and to dance!
We have not forgotten the kids either! There will be a kid’s art and craft booth set up for children to create their own piece of art to take home. We will have face painting and a 4-H Petting Zoo featuring baby lambs and chicks! All proceeds from the petting zoo will go towards buying tackle and supplies for the 4-H agricultural program. We are also hosting a booth just for Scotts Valley High School students to display and sell their artwork and they will be collecting donations for the High School Art Department.
Without the help of our volunteers and sponsors we could not organize this event! Thank you to this year’s premier sponsors: Santa Cruz Waves, Santa Cruz Sentinel and Hotel Paradox! Thank all you volunteers for making this event possible!
