DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the Wistful Romantic Story of Cinderella \n Are you looking for something to do this Valentine’s weekend?  Look no more! Take your date or take your family to see the tale of Cinderella.\nThe Christian Youth Theatre Santa Cruz returns to the Crocker Theatre on February 14-16 with the charming family musical, Cinderella.  It is the tale of impossible things becoming possible, with magic thrown in, and what happens when we follow our hearts.\nThe music of Richard Rodgers is beloved and will be performed by a live orchestra in this production.  The cast, ages 8 – 18 have been rehearsing since November for this special Valentine’s weekend show.\nThe show is directed by CYT Artistic Director, Angelic Navarro.  She brings the play alive with her vision of this classic beauty of a timeless story. Choreographer, Melanie Useldinger brings her expertise to light in beautiful numbers such as the ballroom waltz.  Dr. Dehner supports the team with specialized vocal technique.\nGiven the team’s impressive backgrounds as directors, choreographers, and educators, their strong sense of camaraderie on stage and dedication to the CYT program bring this classic fairytale alive.
