DESCRIPTION:Cyprian Consiglio, an icon of inspiration for his innovative spiritual and musical presentations, returns to Santa Cruz to help the community he founded in 2005 celebrate its 20th anniversary. Sangha Shantivanam of Santa Cruz continues to create a variety of events and provide opportunities for interfaith dialogue. In this concert Father Cyprian will present one of his unique programs of inspirational music, drawing on a variety of musical styles representative of the world’s great faith traditions.\nBIO:  Cyprian Consiglio, OSB Cam, is a Camaldolese monk, musician, composer, author, and teacher. He has published five books: Prayer in the Cave of the Heart, Spirit, Soul, Body, The God Who Gave You Birth (Liturgical Press), Rediscovering the Divine and Epiphanies of Nature and Grace (Orbis); and has written numerous articles on spirituality and inter-religious dialogue as well as on music and liturgy. He served as prior of New Camaldoli Hermitage from 2013 until 2023 and currently lives in Rome where he serves as the Secretary General for Monastic Inter-religious Dialogue for the Benedictine Confederation.\n \n
