Aptos 63 – Harbor 20
(Homecoming, October 4)
The Mariners celebrated their Homecoming with their first league victory of the season with a decisive victory over visiting Harbor 63-20 at Trevin Dilfer Memorial Field.
Sophomore running back Miles Beaudoin led Aptos’ wing-T rushing game scoring three touchdowns and rushing for 112 yards on eight carries while fellow running back CJ Pistorino ran for a 65-yard score and a game high 134 yards on four carries.
Harbor quarterback Milo Small threw for 204 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Small scored a touchdown on a 1-yard keeper in the first quarter. Pirate Receiver Mack Hesson had nine catches for 120 yards.
For the Mariners seven players scored which included Beaudoin, Pistorino, Ricardo Medina, Michael Chavez, quarterback Alex Joh and defensive back Dante Gomez, whose interception resulted in a 30-yard score. With a 28-point second quarter, Aptos led 42-12 lead at halftime.
