Aptos La Selva Fire Board Meeting

Will Chief Jones be Re-hired by the Board?

Aptos La Selva Fire Chief Jon Jones has applied for a two-year contract extension and the board will be voting on this matter Thursday, August 10, at 7:00 p.m.

Earlier this year the Aptos La Selva Firefighters had a 100% No-Confidence vote regarding the Chief and have lobbied extensively against his rehiring.

This Thursday will be the Fire District Board’s response to the Firefighters and to the public.
