Members of the State Bar Insurance Committee include appellate, in house, litigation, and regulatory lawyers who specialize in insurance issues. California State Bar Committees generally review appellate cases, provide expertise on policy issues, draft legislation, and comment on regulatory matters in California.
“I am honored to chair this committee and look forward to working with some of California’s best insurance lawyers,” said Armand Feliciano, ACIC vice president. “The California State Bar Committee process is an excellent opportunity for lawyers to weigh in on issues as subject matter experts, provide thought leadership on evolving policy and legal issues, and contribute back to the legal community.”
The California State Bar Insurance Committee will meet once a month rotating in different regions of the state.
The Association of California Insurance Companies (ACIC) is part of the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) and ACIC is PCI’s California Voice representing 363 property casualty insurance companies doing business in California.
