Paradise Beach Grille has been recognized as the 2026 Small Business of the Year by Dawn Addis as part of a statewide Small Business Month initiative organized by the California Small Business Development Center Network.
The SBDC Network is a nonprofit that supports entrepreneurs and small businesses across California.
Addis said she visited the restaurant following the 2023 winter storms and witnessed “the damage, the debris, and the uncertainty facing this beloved local business.”
“What we see today is a full rebuild driven by resilience, heart, and an unwavering commitment to the community,” Addis said. “Paradise Beach Grille has come back stronger, continuing to serve as a staple of Capitola’s local economy and helping foster a vibrant, thriving coastal community for residents and visitors alike. Today, we celebrate a well-earned achievement. Congratulations!”
