Bay Fed Promotes Sharine Martin

Bay Federal Credit Union has announced the promotion of Sharine Martin to Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager of its Scotts Valley Branch. Mrs. Martin has demonstrated exceptional leadership and member service at the Credit Union over the years, and she is a great asset to Bay Federal’s membership in Scotts Valley and the surrounding area.

“This role will give me the opportunity to really make a difference in the community I’ve had the privilege of working and living in for the past 10 years,” said Mrs. Martin, who resides in Felton with her family. “I love being able to work in and support the community where I live.”

Mrs. Martin joined Bay Federal 10 years ago, most recently working as the Service Manager in the Credit Union’s Scotts Valley and River Street branches. Prior to that, she stepped up as the Interim Manager of Bay Federal’s Member Service Center and was integral in the rollout of new online banking services. Before joining Bay Federal, she was a successful Branch Manager with Comerica Bank.

Mrs. Martin is a recent graduate of Leadership Santa Cruz and BayFedU, which is Bay Federal’s management training program formed in a partnership with Cabrillo College.

Earlier this year, Mrs. Martin was recognized with the Service Excellence Award, the Credit Union’s most prestigious honor given to the top employees who consistently provide exceptional service and embody the organization’s values.
