New Bay Fed SV Manager: Kathleen Courtney

Kathleen Courtney Times Publishing Group Inc tpgonlinedaily.comBay Federal Credit Union (BFCU) has announced hiring Kathleen Courtney as Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager of its Scotts Valley Branch.

Mrs. Courtney has 23 years of experience in everything from mortgage and small business lending to commercial and international banking. She worked for some of the biggest banks in the country, most recently at Bank of America, prior to joining Bay Federal and the credit union industry.

In her new role, Mrs. Courtney will provide leadership and direction for the Scotts Valley Branch. Mrs. Courtney will be highly focused in exceeding member service standards, achieving branch financial goals, mentoring and developing staff, and becoming an active partner in the community.

“I like being a part of an organization that strives to be a resource to my local community,” Mrs. Courtney says. “It is my firm belief that this is a one-of-a-kind financial institution, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”


Mrs. Courtney was born in San Jose and raised in the San Lorenzo Valley, where she now lives with her husband and four children. She is an active volunteer with Hope Church and the San Lorenzo C.E.R.T. emergency/disaster response team.
