Tortilla Flats closes
Tortilla Flats restaurant in Soquel announced Monday it will be closed until further notice because of the county’s shelter in place order to prevent spread of coronavirus.
Jacob’s Heart
The Jacob’s Heart Family Center in Watsonville has asked volunteers to stay home until further notice.
Want to volunteer while sheltering in place? You can volunteer remotely by creating cards for kids and decorating plain grocery bags at home. To decorate bags, pick up a stack of plain grocery bags from the Jacob’s Heart Family Center. When the crisis has passed, bring your cards and bags back to Jacob’s Heart, to be delivered to families.
During the COVID-19 crisis, you can help by buying an item or two from two family support registries at Amazon and Target.
