An Association of Attorneys Protecting you, your Property, and your Legacy
Preparation and opportunity are key ingredients to success. Such is the case at Buckwalter & Holder, An Association of Attorneys, where a third evolution is underway with Nicholas Holder’s acquisition of Philip Buckwalter’s law practice at 9053 Soquel Drive in Aptos.
Firm’s Legacy
Nicholas Holder
Holder is a compassionate attorney who takes pride in helping clients make informed decisions in the areas of estate planning, will and trust formation and administration, property law, business law, personal rights, and litigation. The firm’s estate practice encompasses individual and institutional clients in the areas including asset protection, business succession planning, charitable giving, and estate litigation. Holder also presides over housing disputes as a mediator for the City of San Jose.
Firm’s Approach
Holder’s hometown friend since childhood, M. Alden Peterson is central to firm’s continuing success. Having worked for Buckwalter while at UCSC, Peterson later worked at Dunlap & Burdick as a paralegal until Burdick donned his judicial robes. Peterson later managed a team of paralegals for Carr & Ferrell in Menlo Park.
Peterson looks forward to completing Santa Clara Law School and being sworn in as an attorney in December 2017. Holder and Peterson are excited to build on the firm’s tradition, combining Santa Cruz values with Silicon Valley experience and technology.
With this third evolution of preparation and opportunity, we have a family orientated legal practice offering a winning combination of friendliness, professionalism, and enthusiasm. With their personable approach and efficient use of technology, the firm looks forward to discussing your concerns, providing you with best options, and achieving resolutions that restore your peace of mind.
