CAPITOLA: The City of Capitola is California’s oldest seaside resort, which features a charming village area between two bluffs. The village area was originally founded as a resort, “Camp Capitola,” in 1869 and was incorporated as a city in 1949.

LIVE OAK: The unincorporated community of Live Oak is located between the cities of Capitola and Santa Cruz. At 41st Avenue and Portola there is an eclectic variety of sushi bars, coffeehouses, surf and skate shops, and thrift stores with a nice surf town vibe.


PLEASURE POINT: The small surf community of Pleasure Point is located in an unincorporated area of Santa Cruz County, nestled between Moran Lagoon and 41st Avenue, adjacent to the Monterey Bay. Nearly a dozen famous surf breaks make this an ideal destination where locals mix effortlessly with visitors eager to capture the next best wave.

SOQUEL: Soquel is a small town adjacent and just inland of Capitola. Soquel Creek runs through the heart of Soquel and drains out over the beach in Capitola. Many locals and tourists alike enjoy spending the day wandering through the many antique shops located in downtown Soquel.
