Community Health Centers Receives $10,500

SAN FRANCISCO — Blue Shield of California Foundation announced that it is awarding $10,500 in unrestricted funds to Santa Cruz Community Health Centers. As a longstanding ally to safety net providers across the state, the Foundation trusts that Santa Cruz Community Health Centers will put these flexible funds to their highest and best use in the service of California’s most vulnerable populations.

“We are committed to providing core operating funding to support the community health centers working on the frontlines of California’s of vibrant healthcare safety net,” said Peter Long, PhD, president and CEO of Blue Shield of California Foundation. “Our continued investment in the Santa Cruz Community Health Centers reinforces our confidence in their ability to respond to challenges and opportunities while continuing to ensure access to care to low-income residents in Santa Cruz County.
