By Edita McQuary

CorralitosFeed_entrance Corralitos Feed Times Publishing Group Inc tpgonlinedaily.comThe strong and silent type, Ely Padilla, owner of Corralitos Feed & Pet Supplies, is a country cowboy born into a local farming family where he was raised and educated. For the past 11 years he’s owned Corralitos Feed & Pet Supplies and indulged his passion for horses. Ely owns horses and enjoys riding whenever he finds the time.

He has several employees and when you visit there, you’ll be sure to see Ely and his dad, Don Luis, and from time to time his nieces will also come in to help out at the store as well. Ely said, “My employees are the best and much of the success of the business is because of them.” It’s people like James Alaga who has been with Corralitos Feed for over six years, and others like Kimmy, Logan, Brianna, Clayton and Jennifer that will know the answers to all your pet and feed needs.

Corralitos Feed & Pet Supplies is one big “family” where the employees come together with the same goal in mind, to make Corralitos Feed the best it can be. There I found huge stacks of hay in back of the parking lot being loaded onto a big flatbed truck. The 110-lb bales of alfalfa, timothy grass and straw were a delivery to two customers as feed for their horses. Deliveries are also made for feed for other livestock. The most unusual livestock feed they told me about was for emus.

The store has everything a horse owner could want: Ariat boots, riding helmets, English breeches, gloves and a wide variety of cowboy hats. There is also Toklat English tack (made in U.S.A.), small and large animal care products, everything you could want from Professional’s Choice, and so much more. Looking for lead ropes, reins, and bridles? There is a large selection.

They also carry unique things such as; Inland Valley Salt Rox, vittles vaults, and of course the Ag-source magazine. Corralitos Feed & Pet Supplies carries high-quality, grain-free, and natural pet foods such as Fromm dog food, Blue Buffalo, Happy Howie and many other brands.

Whether you have dogs, cats, reptiles, hamsters, tortoises, goldfish, or even potbelly pigs, Ely and his crew have everything you’ll need. Do you need an I.D. tag for your pet? Buy it here and have it engraved while you wait. Accessories such as doghouses, collars, shampoos, treats and a huge supply of interesting and unusual dog and cat toys are also available.

They are the supply headquarters for the back-yard chicken owner. Egg cartons? Got ‘em. Feeders and waterers? Of course! With choices like Modesto milling organic feed, Happy Hen mealworm treats, and any accessory your coop might need, you will surely flock to this place.

Come in and look around to see what is new and what you need and say “Howdy” to Ely and the crew — you will be welcomed in the good ole country way!
