Curves Supports Communities Nationwide

curvesfooddriveAptos, CA. (Grassroots Newswire) 3/01/2013 — During the month of March, Curves of Aptos will participate in the 14th
Annual Curves Food Drive to benefit local food banks. Collectively, over the past ten years, nearly 75 million pounds of food were distributed to local communities all over the world through the Curves Food Drive.  We are the only Fitness Organization to achieve this status. Our donation speaks for the caring of others and sharing the spirit that Curves represents.

Curves of Santa Cruz, Watsonville, & Aptos is also giving back to the community by waiving its normal service fee for any new member who brings in a bag of non-perishable groceries or brings in a $30 check to Second Harvest Food Bank and joins between March 11th and March 30th.   Come join us in support of our community and feed the needs of local food banks, the needs of hungry school children and the need for women’s health and fitness.

“The Curves Food Drive is always exciting,” said Janna Malizia, the owner of the Santa Cruz, Watsonville, & Aptos club, located at 7000 Soquel Dr. . “We have a chance to help so many people at a time when the food banks are lowest. Especially during these uncertain times, this food is needed more than ever.  It’s a win-win situation for everyone, and we’re very proud to participate.”

Others wishing to donate may drop off non-perishable food items at Curves Monday through Saturday during business hours
through the month of March. Curves is opened 6am – 7pm Monday- Friday and Saturday 8-1pm. For more information, please call Janna @ 688-2348.
