Dientes Welcomes New Dental Director

Dr. Sepideh Walthard has joined the Dientes Community Dental Care team as Dental Director. She is excited to be a part of the Dientes team, serving up smiles to the people who need it most. 

“I’m happy to be a part of an organization that has such an important impact for so many of our underserved neighbors,” Dr. Walthard commented, “Oral health is critical to overall health, and I’m looking forward to helping Dientes advance the health of our community.”

She comes to Dientes with over 5 years of experience. Prior to joining Dientes, Dr. Walthard worked as the Managing Dentist at Western Dental Services in Santa Cruz. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry and completed her residency at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA. It is during her residency that she developed her interest in serving those most in need. She comments, “I love making a difference for my patients. By providing quality dental care and education, I can put them on a path for better health.”

After spending several years in a corporate dentistry environment in a leadership role, Dr. Walthard is excited to return to her passion of community dentistry.
