SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – A three-day permit project for electrical work on eastbound Highway 152 (Main Street) through downtown Watsonville between West Lake Street and West Beach Street will begin on Tuesday, October 8.

Roadwork consists of closing the #2 (slow) lane between 9 am and 3 pm each day for above ground lighting work. Motorists can expect a delay not to exceed 5-10 minutes.

This work is being done through a permit from the City of Watsonville and is expected to be complete on Thursday, October 10.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over or slow down when driving through highway work zones.
