Due to the rising level of the San Lorenzo River, Paradise Park CRZ-E081 and Felton Grove FEL-E008 are also under evacuation warning. Those who feel unsafe or need extra time, please consider making arrangements now.
This message is to alert residents that an evacuation may be necessary. Zones have been updated for risk of debris flow areas, so residents are encouraged to look up their evacuation zone at https://community.zonehaven.com.
Debris flows are fast-moving masses of mud, rocks, boulders, trees and sometimes homes or vehicles. They move quickly and are often deadly to those in their path. - Follow instructions from local officials, including for travel routes.
- Wear protective clothing and sturdy shoes.
- Take your emergency go-bag or disaster supply kit.
- Lock your home.
- Shut off water, gas and electricity if instructed to do so.
- Let others know when you left and where you are going.
- Make arrangements for pets and livestock, if necessary.
The weather forecast anticipates high winds and potential for downed trees and road closures. Residents should exercise caution when leaving their homes during the storm.
