Fifteenth Annual Kidrageous Carnival

With Childhood Cancer Awareness month in September, the campaign will kick off at Jacob’s Heart’s 15th annual Kidrageous Carnival on September 29 in the Watsonville Plaza from noon to 5:00 PM. All are invited to attend.

Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services invites children and adults of all ages to their 15th Annual Kidrageous Carnival on Sunday, September 29 at the Watsonville City Plaza from 12 pm to 5 pm. This special event brings awareness to September being Childhood Cancer Awareness month across the state and celebrates the families in our community who have been affected by childhood cancer. Jacob’s Heart is a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of these families by providing a wide range of support services and financial aid.

The Kidrageous Carnival is a fun-filled day with games, entertainment and food and is made possible by sponsorship from local organizations and private donations. Music, magic, dunk tanks, face painting, juggling, bounce houses and rock climbing are just some of the activities that make this special day so memorable for Jacob’s Heart kids, families and the entire community.


Now in its 15th year, Jacob’s Heart has supported nearly 500 in Santa Cruz, South Santa Clara, Monterey, and San Benito counties. Jacob’ Heart spearheaded the initiative to declare September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and has been recognized by the Oprah Angel Network and many others, Jacob’s Heart works tirelessly to make sure no family is alone when a child is diagnosed with cancer.
