Central Fire Protection District, Capitola Police Department and the CHP will be participating in our annual holiday toy drive for December 2013. Toys will be collected for needy children and distributed to local families through the Santa Cruz County Chapter of The Salvation Army. We will be staffing a collection booth at the Santa Cruz Toys ‘R’ Us store on December 13 through 15.
Police and Fire Department personnel will be collecting toys from 5:00PM – 9:00PM Friday and from 9:00 – 9:00PM on Saturday and Sunday. Additional collection points will be at the Aptos CHP office and all four stations of the Central Fire Protection District. All donated toys should be new and unwrapped.
