Get Ready For the 15th Annual Santa Cruz County Fall Bike to Work Day October 10th

Providing free breakfast, massages, prizes, bike maintenance and more to cyclists!

SANTA CRUZ — Ecology Action is gearing up for Santa Cruz County’s bi-annual Bike To Work Day, which falls on Thursday October 10th from 6:30-9:30am. Every year thousands of enthusiastic children, families and adults participate in this event. We offer 16 different breakfast site locations across Santa Cruz County where cyclists can get a free breakfast. We will also have 45 school sites offering free breakfast to students biking and walking to school.

Ecology Action is proud to encourage Santa Cruz residents and youth to ride their bike or walk instead of drive whether commuting to work, school, or play all year long. Bike To Work Day is also a great opportunity for beginner cyclists to join the fun and learn about practical resources available to them to help make bike commuting and trips to school more practical and fun.

Here are some highlights for the 15th Annual Fall Bike To Work on Thursday October 10th:

Free Breafast for cyclists at the following locations: Whole Foods Santa Cruz, Westside New Leaf, The Picnic Basket, Verve Coffee on 41st, The Ugly Mug in Soquel, Mollie’s Country Café in Scotts Valley, White Raven Café in Felton, Second Street Café in Watsonville and Fox Racing in Watsonville

Free Breakfast for student cyclists or walkers: At 45 schools across Santa Cruz County
