The Headwear Association Launches 7th Annual Hat Day in the Sun

Free sun protection hats to be distributed Nationwide

To celebrate the 7th annual “Hat Day in the Sun”, The Headwear Association (THA) will be giving away thousands of FREE wide-brimmed sun-protection hats in cities across the country as part of a public awareness campaign to educate people that the right hat can protect against skin cancer, sun damage, and premature aging. In Santa Cruz, American Hatmakers (by Head’n Home Hats) and “Hat Couple” Garth and Hannah Watrous will be hosting a huge hat giveaway in Esplanade Park on  Thursday, June 19th at 1PM.
