Highway 9 Closure in Felton North of Paradise Park for Maintenance and Repairs

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY– Crews will be performing roadway grinding, paving and repair in both directions of a ¼ mile section of Hwy. 9 from north of Paradise Park to Rincon Park in Felton on Friday, September 19, Caltrans officials have announced.

Santa Clara County, California

Roadwork hours are on Friday only, from 7:30 am to 3 pm.

There will be electronic message signs alerting motorists of this closure and the CHP will assist with traffic control. No delays are expected as traffic will be detoured onto Graham Hill Road through a special agreement between Caltrans and Santa Cruz County.

This work is being done by the Santa Cruz Maintenance Crew and is necessary to prevent further deterioration of the roadway.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
