Highway 9 (South of Felton) to Close for Tree Work

Monday, Oct. 12 thru Friday, Oct. 16 – 6 a.m.-5 p.m.

Next week, Caltrans will remove damaged trees along Highway 9 south of Felton to reduce the chances of winter mudslides. This means a full closure of Highway 9 between Paradise Park and Glengarry Road next week.

The hours of the closure will be from Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Caltrans said there are no houses or side roads within the closure area.

CHP personnel will direct motorists to detours on Graham Hill Road or Mount Hermon Road.

Motorists can expect traffic delays up to 10 minutes.
