Kohli earns Sheriff’s Citizen Commendation

This week, one of our graveyard teams surprised Johnny Kohli with a Sheriff’s Office Citizen Commendation.

Last December, a 77 year old woman unknowingly drove her vehicle into a muddy field where it became stuck. She got out of her car to find help, when suddenly her vehicle mysteriously caught fire. The woman then walked several hundred yards on a cold December night to the Arco AMPM Gas Station at Green Valley and Holohan Roads.

There, night manager Johnny Kohli, provided her with blankets, food and a warm place to wait while he helped arrange for her family to come get her.
