Bids Must Be Submitted Between June 15 and June 19
The County of Santa Cruz will hold a random drawing among prospective Measure J eligible homebuyers for a new 4-bedroom, single-family Measure J home in Soquel.
- Gross household income at or below Moderate Income limits
- Household size qualifies for 4-bedroom home (5-9 household members, depending on household composition and special needs, if any)
- First-time homebuyer (has not owned a home for past 3 years)
- Buyer has lived and/or worked within Santa Cruz County for at least 60 days, and all household members have lived together for at least 6 months.
- Buyer is “purchase ready,” as defined in affordable housing guidelines

The maximum sales price for this new Measure J home is $525,900. The home is subject to a permanent deed restriction which imposes ongoing resale price limits and related restrictions on the property.
To enter this random drawing, prospective buyers must submit a pre-application form with a loan pre-qualification letter to the Housing Division between June 15-19.
