Missing Person – Search and Rescue Guadalupe Cortez, age 26, Soquel 
Description of Incident:
The Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team is searching for Guadalupe Cortez, who was reported missing on 02/04/13 at 9:00 a.m.
Guadalupe was last seen on Sunday, 02/03/12 at 12:30 p.m. while she was swimming with two men in the river by Highlands Park in Ben Lomond, one of whom reported her missing the next morning. Guadalupe’s 1996 green Jeep was located in the parking of Highlands Park. Deputies canvassed the area where she was last seen but were unable to find her and are now increasing the search area and search resources to include search dogs, SAR ground search, and evaluation for a water team to search along the San Lorenzo River.
