With the news of El Niño, which is expected to greatly impact the State of California, Monterey County, and the region, the Department of Emergency Management, in collaboration with the Department of Public Works, Facilities and Parks, Monterey County Water Resources Agency, and the National Weather Service, provided a comprehensive report to the Board of Supervisors on Oct. 13.
