Joyce Oroz Describes Her Journey Writing With A Learning Disability
Joyce Oroz writes about the things she loves: painting, animals, California, relationships, mystery, and adventure. Her books feature amateur sleuth Josephine Stuart, a Santa Cruz county-based muralist, who just happens to be painting nearby when crimes occur.
Set in local neighborhoods and the backcountry of the Santa Cruz Mountains, the stories are great fun as Josephine plans her artworks, mixes her colors, and muddles through clues to discover who-dunnit.
A percentage of the sales go to the Friends of the Scotts Valley Library.
Sponsored by the Friends of Scotts Valley Library, a chapter of the Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries, the event will feature a short talk by the author, a question and answer session, plus an opportunity to purchase an autographed copy of one of Oroz’s books. The event is free and all are welcome.
