NBA, G-League Suspend Seasons

The Santa Cruz Warriors were probably not really looking forward to playing without any fans to cheer them on. Now, they don’t know when they will next play.

The fallout that followed Wednesday’s announcement of Utah’s Rudy Gobert testing positive for the coronavirus, first the Jazz’s game against Oklahoma City was cancelled, then later the NBA announced it was suspending the season indefinitely.

Finally, the axe fell for the G-league. It was announced later in the evening that the season would be suspended following the completion of Wednesday’s games. Santa Cruz was scheduled to play Thursday, March 12.
