New Aptos Art Festival Launching May 13

Come celebrate the launch of the Spring Aptos Arts and Craft Festival on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rancho Del Mar Center. The festival will showcase 45 local artists, artisans and designers selling jewelry, clothing, fine art, glass, sculpture and other one-of-a-kind handmade items.

This indoor/outdoor show will be held on the sidewalk under the Rancho Del Mar breezeways as well as inside the former Aptos Bike Station venue. Falling on the Saturday before Mother’s Day, the festival provides a great opportunity to choose the perfect handmade gift for mom.

The festival is sponsored by the Ocean Breeze Boutique, and owners Dawn Teall and Pam Nielsen hope to make this an annual community event and fundraiser for local charities. 10% of this year’s sale proceeds will be donated to Hospice of Santa Cruz County.
