Three of Aptos High School’s top athletes chose the next step in their educational path as they signed their letters of intent for college.

Paige Dueck will be taking her talent to Santa Clara University, where she will focus on soccer as she is now doing at Aptos, despite playing varsity volleyball as a sophomore.

Baseball star David Reckers made his decision to join the Cal State, Backersfield baseball program months ago, but had to wait until the official signing period began.

But that’s nothing compared to Monserrat Hernandez, who has known that she wanted to play soccer for Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo for nearly a year.
