ValentinesDinner_2 Valentines Dinner Times Publishing Group Inc tpgonlinedaily.comI was one of the winners of the Valentine’s Day Poetry Contest and my prize was dinner for two at Severino’s. It is April now and my hubby is turning 50 what a better present than to take him to dinner and recite my poem to him again for his birthday.

He didn’t want a big party or a fuss for his fiftieth, just a quite dinner with his family. The anticipation of going to dinner at Severino’s building for over a month, we both love the restaurant and the cuisine, we were getting excited. We don’t go out much because of my illness and this was going to be a treat.

By the way, Brock, the object of my love and poem, was proud that I submitted my poetry for the contest. He lovingly boasted to all who would listen, that he was that “Third” in Third times a Charm, and his wife won the contest.

On April 21 we and Brock’s Brother, Sister in law (Dan and Lori Davenport) and Uncle Donny met at Severino’s in anticipation of a wonderful experience. We were seated so we could enjoy the Kio pond and outdoor patio which was beautiful in the night shades of the evening. We all enjoyed what turned out to be a delicious dinner I ordered the Filet Mignon and Brock ordered the Peppered New York Steak dinner.

The staff was very attentive and had wonderful attitudes with smiles and politeness abound. The ambiance in the restaurant was quiet and comfortable, we were so comfortable and having such a wonderful time, we were the last ones in the restaurant. Our little family group had a great experience. I want to thank Severino’s for accepting our puppy dog (who is also a service dog for my husband) without question. I also want to thank the hostess and our server for being very attentive to us.

The staff at Severino’s made our belated Valentines dinner, my hubby’s 50th birthday and family dinner such a wonderful experience. I also want to thank The Aptos Times for selecting my poem as the winning poem for Valentine’s Day Contest so we could have this happy evening.
