Overnight Ramp Closures On Highway 1/17 Connector Near the Fish Hook For Drainage Improvement Project


SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – An overnight closure of the southbound Hwy. 17 connector to Hwy. 1 will take place during the overnight hours on Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1 from 9 pm to 6 am.  Motorists can expect a delay not to exceed 10 minutes.
This project will improve drainage on southbound Hwy. 1 between the Emeline St. Overcrossing and Carbonera Creek Bridge near the Fishhook.
The contractor for this $200,000 project is Graniterock Construction of Watsonville, CA.  This project is expected to be completed by the end of July.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
