“Pink” day October 25 at AJHS in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. At lunch we gathered a couple hundred students who were dressed in pink, for “Pink” day to form a Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon on the blacktop of our outdoor playground.
We are also raising $500 dollars to donate to WomenCare a local organization that helps with Breast Cancer Awareness and provides free cancer advocacy, resources, education, and support to women, their families and friends. The kids were really into the picture and the pink- wonderful support from the junior highers at AJHS.
