Redwood Mountain Faire and its Amazing Music Line-up

Proceeds benefit over 20 vital non-profit education and community organizations

The Redwood Mountain Faire (www.redwoodmountainfaire.com) returns for its 7th year on June 4 and 5 to beautiful Roaring Camp in Felton. The Faire is a unique, feel-good event, featuring 22 bands on two stages, including traditional favorites and many unique and exciting style blends. The enticement of over forty-five quality arts and crafts booths, great children’s activities, delicious foods, beers and local wines, and special entertainment surprises adds to the two days of excitement.

Faire organizers are happy to announce the 2016 music line-up, a remarkable variety of talented local, regional and national performers, enticing folks to arrive early and stay late. You will note that many of these bands play locally for more than the Faire tickets cost to enjoy 11 of them each day of the faire.

The line-up includes: MarchFourth!, Orgone, Hot Buttered Rum, Polyrhythmics, Scott Pemberton, Dead Winter Carpenters, B-Side Players, Yarn, Harpin Jonny & Friends with Larry Hosford & Bob O’Neil, Shady Groove, Banana Slug String Band, Scary Little Friends, The Sam Chase & The Untraditional, Sharon Allen and the Dusty Blues, Joy & Madness, Scott Cooper & The Barrelmakers, Soulwise, Pawn Shop Soul, The Painted Horses, Rainbow Girls, Heathen Hill, and ZEBRA 3.

Our sponsors value and support the Faire’s community connections; they include Roaring Camp Railroad, Sierra Nevada, The Hilton Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley, Zinnia’s Scotts Valley, Bay Federal Credit Union, Good Times, Santa Cruz Waves, Hammer Construction, KPIG, KSCO, Town Center Storage in Scotts Valley, and The San Lorenzo Valley Water District. The Faire is produced by an all-volunteer, 8-member Steering Committee, inspired by the fair established by The Valley Women’s Club in the 1980’s and 90’s.

Thanks to over 600 volunteers and generous sponsors, the organizers hope to match or exceed last year’s $59,000 benefit amount, shared by over 20 vital non-profit education and community organizations.

Advance tickets (available online) are discounted: Adults: $25 per day (Door $29 per day), two-day Pass $45; Students and Seniors $20 each (Door $24 per day), two-day Pass $35; Kids 12 and under FREE with parent or legal guardian. Parking is $5. Tickets are also available at Liberty Bank in Felton and Boulder Creek, Zinnia’s in Scotts Valley, Bay Federal Credit Union in Scotts Valley and on Water Street in Santa Cruz, and from Streetlight Records in Santa Cruz.
