Cuz I’m sweet and shy and kind of a fluff
They moved away, leaving me behind
Feeling abandoned, lonely, in a bit of a bind.
My long soft fur is grey-blending-to-brown
My preference would be no other cats around
(Since I’ve spent years being an only child
I’ve grown used to a household quiet and mild.)
At 12 years old, I’ve got golden years ahead
Would love to share a lap or a comfy bed
They say I seem younger and that may be true
Cuz my shyness fade when I’m snuggling close to you.
So take me home, give me lovin’
Let me be your fur-ball muffin
With pensive eyes of golden-green
I can be your Senior Queen!
