ALBERT (A216273)

Albert, a 12 year old buff tiger, was surrendered to the shelter after his elderly owner passed away. Albert’s story is not uncommon here at the shelter and we urge pet owners to have a plan for your pets should something happen where you can’t care for them.

Albert has been at the shelter since early June when the life he knew was turned upside down. It’s been confusing and upsetting, but Albert is adapting and has endeared himself to many of the volunteers who appreciate his mellow nature. Volunteer comments range from gentle soul, perfect gentleman, to sweet old man and lap cat. Albert would love a quiet house with someone he could curl up with. He is an absolute delight and would be a great addition to a cat loving home.
