Founded in 1999, Scotts Valley High School graduated its first senior class in June of 2003. SVHS is a comprehensive, accredited high school for grades 9–12, located in the City of Scotts Valley.

Its enrollment for the academic year 2013–14 is 178 seniors, 179 juniors, 205 sophomores, and 212 freshmen. The enrollment for 2012-13 was 195 seniors, 186 juniors, 190 sophomores, and 217 freshmen.

There are 47 certificated staff members including teachers, administrators, and counselors.
