Jake Rehnberg, Scotts Valley Running Back, & Aptos High School Quarterback, Alex Joh.

Rehnberg rushed for a school-record 2,234 yards during the season making him third all-time in the SCCAL. Only Soquel’s Fabiano Hale’s total of 2,452 in 2012 and Harbor’s Calvin Keyser-Allen’s 2,360 in 2000 gained more. Rehnberg’s scoring totals were 16 touchdowns rushing and 3 receiving. This star athlete also played defense as the starting linebacker.

Offensive Player of the Year

Willie Johnston, Scotts Valley running back/receiver. As a multi-use player, Johnston racked up 799 yards rushing with 12 touchdowns on the ground. As a receiver, he gained 593 yards with 7 touchdowns scoring school-record 126 total points for the season. On defense, Johnston had five interceptions.
