Second Harvest Provides Drive-Thru Food Distribution

Distribution Takes Place at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Second Harvest Food Bank will host another drive-thru community food distribution on Friday, April 10th, this time at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk parking lot (100 Beach St) that runs parallel to the San Lorenzo River.  The distribution will be between the hours of 9 am – 1 pm.

Residents of Santa Cruz County can come and receive a bag of pantry items and a bag of produce.  This is plenty of food for a family, so we ask that if you have attended a previous Second Harvest food distribution in this same week please allow those who still need food to get their share.

The drive through distribution begins at 9 am, we ask community members to not arrive before 9am so we can get fully set up. The distribution will end at 1 pm.  Each family receiving food must have a representative present, with appropriate identifying materials.

Please come prepared to transport up to 60 lbs of food (with a cart or wagon if available). We will ask walk ups to stand 6 feet apart and if possible please wear a face covering (mask, scarf, kerchief, etc) to protect our participants, staff, volunteers and the national guard.
