Traffic impacts will include no left-hand turns on Fair Avenue between Ingalls Street and Oxford Way July 14-23. Nor will left-hand turns be allowed on Oxford Way July 21-30. Residents of either street will need to find an alternate route that will allow them to turn right into their driveway. On-street parking will be prohibited while left-hand turns are disallowed.
The intersection at Fair and Delaware Avenues will remain open during the project. Almar Avenue will be closed at Oxford Way July 23-24; residents will be able to access their homes from Delaware Avenue. Weekend work is expected in order to complete the project as quickly as possible.
The City of Santa Cruz appreciates the public’s cooperation and understanding while traffic is impacted on these streets during this process to repair the sewer pipe.
