Ms. Hassell served on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association from 2002 to 2012. She obtained the Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She was admitted to practice law in California in 1998. Ms. Hassell studied pre-law at Binghamton University in New York where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and finished in the top 1% of her class.
