The Legacy Tour: Patrick Kinkade talks about his brother’s life August 17

Patrick KinKadeRenowned artist Thomas Kinkade is known as the “Painter of Light” for his landscapes, with images of woodlands, country cottages, lighthouses, churches and Disney-like scenes.

Few know Thomas Kinkade better than his younger brother, Professor Patrick Kinkade.

At his most popular, Thomas Kinkade placed his art not only with collectors but his prints graces the walls of thousands of American homes. His art appeared on everyday items, such as coffee mugs and calendars to make it accessible.

Thomas Kinkade’s life ended on April 6, 2012 from hypertensive and atherosclerotic heart disease and from an accidental overdose of alcohol and Valium dying at age 54.
