Lisa Crawley of Carmel, Jeanne Dorrance and Nants Foley of Hollister will depart will depart on Wednesday, October 16th at 9:30 a.m. from the Red Cross Carmel Office at Eighth Ave. at Dolores St., P.O. Box AR.
The Santa Maria apartment fire took place on Saturday, October 12th at around 2:25 a.m. at the Town Center Hotel, known for housing long-term residents. The local Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Red Cross Chapters ran a shelter for the 57 people who were displaced from their homesSaturday night. The shelter is at Minami Community Center in Santa Maria. Red Cross volunteers are also providing food, comfort, and care to the people in need.
