Kiwanis of the Valleys

On the evening of Wednesday, November 11 the club will be hosting our annual Music at Skypark appreciation banquet at Bruno’s BBQ. The sponsors and vendors who helped make this year’s season the most successful ever will be recognized for the generosity. A check in the amount of $20,000 will be presented to SVSD Superintendent Penny Weaver. These funds go directly to the music program in the local public schools.

On the weekend of October 3 the club set up tents and tables for the Friends of Hospice Oktoberfest that was held at the Scotts Valley Community Center.

In late November, the club will join with our youth sponsored Key Clubs to purchase over 60 gifts for the annual Big Brothers and Big Sisters Holiday luncheon that is held at Shadowbrook each December.

Kiwanis meets 7 a.m. every Wednesday morning at Bruno’s BBQ. The second Wednesday of each month is an evening meeting at Bruno’s at 6:30 pm. We invite you to join us.
