Kiwanis of the Valleys
On the weekend of October 3 the club set up tents and tables for the Friends of Hospice Oktoberfest that was held at the Scotts Valley Community Center.
In late November, the club will join with our youth sponsored Key Clubs to purchase over 60 gifts for the annual Big Brothers and Big Sisters Holiday luncheon that is held at Shadowbrook each December.
Kiwanis meets 7 a.m. every Wednesday morning at Bruno’s BBQ. The second Wednesday of each month is an evening meeting at Bruno’s at 6:30 pm. We invite you to join us.

Exchange Club of Scotts Valley
Exchange Club president, Chris Perri, wrote the music for a brand new musical version of It’s a Wonderful Life, being presented by Cabrillo Theatre Arts November 7 – 21. Get your tickets now!

Scotts Valley Rotary
Camilla Boolootian, a Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotarian, and Corporate Development Officer of the Central Coast American Red Cross presented the importance of having an adequate blood supply and why local blood drives are critical to ensuring an adequate blood Supply.
Our club was treated to an episode of the new TV show, Catty Wompus by local Directors/Producers/Co-creators Julie Howe & Craig Comstock. The entire show is filmed in Santa Cruz County and uses local talent. Craig is the husband of our own Rotarian, Council member Pamela Comstock!
Rosanna Herrera and Ron Sekkel presented part 1 of Membership the Rotary Way. They presented what Rotary is about these days.
We’re made up of local business professionals and Civic leaders that meet regularly, get to know each other, form friendships, and through that, we’re able to get things done in this community.
We meet Mondays at 12:15 p.m. Bruno’s Barbeque 230G Mt. Hermon Road Scotts Valley Upstairs Meeting Room.
