The Scotts Valley Arts Commission announces its 14th annual Verse in the Valley Poetry Contest. This call for poetry from all ages is open to anyone who loves to write and read poetry. Winners in every age category (kindergarten to adult) will be asked to read their poems to the SV City Council. Teachers of winning students will be awarded a $50 stipend.
Submit your poem of 200 words or less. Submission forms can be obtained from the Scotts Valley Recreation Office at Sky Park, or the Scotts Valley City Offices on Civic Center Drive.
