The Santa Cruz Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24th at Seascape Resort and Park in Aptos, with registration beginning at 8:30AM.

Over 500 area residents participated in last year’s walk, which raised $197,330, contributing to more than $77 million raised nationwide for care, support and research efforts for those impacted by Alzheimer’s.

Walk participants will complete a three mile walk along the beautiful Seascape Beach and learn about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment, and support programs and services available from the Alzheimer’s Association.

Walkers will be led by bagpipers and entertained along the way by a band and Taiko drummers!   A complimentary lunch is generously provided by the Seascape Resort. Walk participants will also join in a meaningful tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

Sign up today at alz.org/walk or contact nathompson@alz.org for more information. Participants who raise $100 will receive a walk t-shirt, but all walkers are welcome. You can even register the day of the walk.
