Corralitos Wine Company was born in 1999 when a group of friends got together at harvest to bottle the fruits of their labor. As they continued doing this over the years, their skills improved like fine wine. Initially limited to online sales, the group decided to get serious and market their efforts. Corralitos Wine Company was formed in 2007 and their tasting room opened in March of 2013. Set deep into a hillside, it has a naturally cool and even cave-like temperature—perfect for storing wine. Founded by Rob Marani and seven other dedicated winemakers, they are now making four exceptional wines—Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Merlot. Grapes are sourced from Deer Park Vineyards, at the Rio Del Mar Boulevard exit off Highway 1, and elsewhere, but more estate vineyards have been planted for the future.
