Youth Positions Open on Advisory Bodies

The City of Capitola has expanded opportunities for area students to participate as non-voting members of several of its advisory bodies. Applicants must live within the Soquel Union Elementary School District or attend Soquel, Harbor, or Aptos High School, and be accompanied to the meetings by an adult if under age 18.

• Art and Cultural Commission
• Finance Advisory Committee
• Historical Museum Board
• Library Advisory Committee

Selected youth participants will serve through August 2018 and may reapply for the next term.

Notices and applications are available on the City’s website at www.cityofcapitola.org under the “I Want To” tab. Interested community members may also pick up applications at Capitola City Hall, 420 Capitola Avenue or call (831) 475-7300 and request an application be mailed.
